1. Services Provided

Scottsmoor Movers provides local and long-distance moving services, including residential and commercial moving, moving storage, and other related services. We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time.

2. Booking and Payments

  • Booking: To book a moving service, customers must provide the necessary details about their move, including location, date, and type of service required. A valid email and phone number are required for communication.
  • Payments: Payments for services are due at the time of booking or as agreed upon with our customer service team. Payment methods include credit/debit cards, checks, and other methods specified by us. All payments are processed securely.
  • Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled move to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the move are subject to a cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for services rendered.

3. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information regarding your move.
  • Ensuring that all items to be moved are properly packed, labeled, and ready for transport.
  • Securing any necessary permits or permissions for parking and moving through your building, if required.
  • Ensuring that pets, valuables, and sensitive items are managed properly during the move.

4. Our Responsibilities

We are responsible for providing the moving services as agreed upon, including:

  • Providing the necessary equipment and vehicles for transportation.
  • Ensuring the safe handling of your belongings.
  • Meeting the agreed-upon move date and time, subject to conditions like weather, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances.

5. Limitation of Liability

While we take all reasonable precautions to protect your belongings, Scottsmoor Movers is not liable for any damage, loss, or theft that may occur during the move, except as required by applicable law. We recommend that you insure valuable items and fragile goods.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scottsmoor Movers, its employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, or damages arising from your actions, the information you provide, or your failure to comply with these Terms.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services if you violate these Terms or engage in illegal or harmful activities. Upon termination, any outstanding payments will remain due.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Florida, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Florida.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly. By continuing to use our services after such changes, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.
